The Scania power generating engines are built on a durable design with a strength-optimized cylinder block including easily interchangeable wet cylinder liners. Fuel efficiency and repairability are promoted with individual cylinder heads with four valves per cylinder.
The engine has an Engine Management System, or EMS, created by Controltec USA to assure the management of all factors affecting engine performance.
Based on electronically controlled unit injectors, the injection system offers minimal exhaust emissions, good fuel efficiency, and a lot of torque. To accommodate a variety of applications, the engine can be equipped with a wide range of accessories, including air filters, PTOs, and cooling packages.
